Chief Ragusa - If I played Japan again I would get into an alliance with Ming. I don't care if I had to make a pact with the devil. I didn’t do it in this game because I thought I could go around them and I was successful in doing that but I needed a large ally to help me take down Timurid. I just didn’t think I had enough money at the start of the game to send enough gifts (60 ducats a gift) to make it a viable way to go. Besides making alliances in EU3 is something I have had little to no luck in doing.
Stnylan - The AI had it’s share of successes. In fact it’s exceeded my expectations. But it is erratic to put it mildly.
Murmurandus - The TO does do better but then looking at Japan’s turn that’s not saying much is it?
Excel - All three countries did a good job of holding on to what I conquered and Japan did a good job on expanding in the same direction. Sicily and the Teutonic Order had a difference of an opinion on what our priorities were going to be. Still they didn’t to too bad. The problems were that their strategic abilities would be sound one time and crazy the next time and their inability to adjust to the changing situation was a problem. For example with an expanding empire the AI should adjust it’s mania on going innovative.
Insanity Boy - Don’t give up so soon. I admit that the TO have a difficult time ahead of them but they could still win. Well all right it’s a long shot but I refuse to give up.
J. Passepartout - Then you’d be disappointed if the TO wins? Well stay tuned.
Coz1 - Japan may have struck out but I think the TO may be able to step up to the plate and hit one out of the park. Maybe. . .
Aldriq - I agree about Sicily’s initial position but I was surprised that it’s economy was not the barn burner that I thought it would be. They had those rich provinces in Northern Italy but Sicily wasn’t able to generate as much wealth as Japan much less the Teutonic Order. It wasn’t until late in the game that their money woes disappeared. I was forced to get involved in North Africa for two reasons. First the bastards kept declaring war against me and the second reason is I needed any thing to increase my size and power if I was going to impress Timurid and stop them from going stubborn on me.
Ahura Mazda - It was worst playing that turn.
Merrick - I agree they really should do a patch and deal with the stability problem. Oh the TO does let me bang away but, well I won’t say right now but the TO’s turn ends in an unexpected way.
Germanpeon - I’m not sure you want to read about the TO’s turn.
Stuyvesant - I’ve never had that many revolts, ever. I did have more luck with the TO but then whether it was bad or good luck you’ll have to wait to find out.
