Threads with last message dating for more than a year are not displayed in thread list

The title says it all.

My thread display options are set to "forever", not to "1 year", but the behaviour is still observed.

Sorting by date allows to notice this very clearly, as the earliest displayed thread from old to new will have their last post on march 1st 2017.

Not only is there a bug (the thread display options don't do what they say), but while this may be acceptable for say game suggestions subforums, this is really an issue in some specific cases, like the AAR forums, where it makes impossible to discover easily old stories which may still be very interesting.

Unfortunately a known issue. I think i read a post in which @TinyWiking might have said there was no real solution, as it is.

What you can do is, in the "thread display options", to click on the "set options" button. Though you'll need to do it again next time you come on that forum.

Indeed, clicking on the "set options" temporarily fix the issue. Thanks for the tip.

That it can't be fixed for the moment is sad.

I still hope a fix will one day arise.
