So the introduction of Threadmarks to OT has been chaotic to put it lightly.
Problems we've encountered so far:
Serious Issue: Anyone can edit anyone's threadmark. So people can use it to troll, insult and cause general mischief by overwriting what you have originally wrote. At present your thread can have its threadmark index changed by absolutely anyone simply by changing individual threadmarks, despite not being able to edit or delete entries in the actual index yourself without navigating to the post and changing/deleting it manually.
Flaw: Threadmark Index are ordered by threadmark creation time and not by post # order. Should be the other way round. This will especially be needed for AARs and Mod Threads. As a result your index is now unorganised under the current
Required: We need permissions to set up who exactly can write and edit threadmarks in a thread (needed for Mod Teams).
