Curious if there are any guidelines about this. Most of the time, most thread titles are good. Example:
Obama speech upsets Republicans
New unit types and balance
Dev question: Conscription, necessarily necessary?
Bug? Clicking on button causes computer to electrocute me
There are however 'bad' thread titles. Example:
Obama gone and done it again
WHY MY UNITS?!
A question I had for the development team of this game
Electronic Palpatine?
When there are bad titles I find that sometimes you end up with a dual thread. For example, many users reporting their computers are now electrocuting them and their cats after downloading the latest patch.
Most often, but not always, the bad title thread starts first. And most often, but not always, the good title thread has more posts. And most often, but not always, people come in to the good title thread to tell them to go to the bad title thread as it was first.
Hence, I am curious if there are written or unwritten guidelines on thread titles; what they should be, should not be, and when they should be changed, if at at all.
PS
Please don't shock my cat. I like him.
