So, I spent the last day or so going through Bastard's Wound. I started from my direct prior end-game save.
'Bout ten hours, it took me, in all (not counting any content I missed because of the late-game start). Not too bad.
It was a slightly mixed experience; fine pretty much until the last, upon discovering I'd gotten all the way through the dungeon and then finding that because the quest seems buggy that I couldn't do anything with Reef-Talon was frustrating, as was the hour or two (complete with google) searching, trying to find and get at the all murals (which I couldn't). I'm not sure if the answers you pick for the murals matter to that quest or not, but if they do it's kind of a gotcha situation where you are more-or-less having to play through the dungeon more than once or look on the net. I elected to just frack it and work with what I had (and persuaded her to run off).
So, having wrapped up all I could, I then I went to cast the edict off.
And found there was now the option to salute smartly to Kyros and say "all done, chief!"
THANK YOU, Obsidian and PDX, THANK YOU!
Seriously!
That's all I wanted!
That alone made all the niggles irrelevant and made it all worth while! Daft as it may seem to some, but that was pretty much worth the price of admission alone for me. FINALLY, truly getting to play a proper Lawful Evil character, efficient-cog-in-the-machine. It's a pretty small thing all considered, but to me it makes a huge difference.
So again, lads and lasses all, thank you for adding it in!
*salutes smartly*
