Hello,
I was wondering why a republic loses the Defender of the Faith title if they chose to elect someone else? This makes no sense and is particullarly inconvenient - especially as Milan (Ambrosian Republic). Furthermore, the description of the title says a country loses the title if the ruler dies. Electing someone different does not mean the ruler is dead - he's just "living" among the other citizens of that said country.
Was wondering what others have to say about this. Gameplay wise it's also quite stupid to lose the title after just 3 years as Milan with Ambrosian Republic..
