In regards to your air dd. The Mustang being built doesn't have a ground attack statistic. Is this by design or is it because the game is pre-alpha?

1. Looking at the production screen images, it has been noticed that energy/coal is not shown as needed for production. Has it been removed or just a constant for all production so not shown for the needs for that item?

2. As I understand it there will be 3 types of factories (civil/general, military & shipyards). Will that be moddable to add additional types? So that aircraft would need to be produced in an Aircraft Plant.

A more general interest questions for podcat.

3. I am not asking for a review or which you liked/didn't like (that could be unfair to those you didn't like). Have you played (or examined) the major mods for HoI3 (some, most, all or non) to see what some/many players want out of HoI?

4. Are there some areas of HOI IV that you have yet to determine the best way to model it in the game (trade, diplomacy or other)? If so would you want ideas/input from the community before you start coding?

5. In the posts by the Devs it would seem that you all are very familiar with WWII and not just some programmers they hired for the job. That being said there are many areas that I would think need to be researched to develop a game encompassing all of WWII. Do the programmers do their own research or do you have a research team?

I found the stream a disappointment. It was very short and not to be harsh on the people who asked those questions but most of them has already been answered already so read the DDs first.

The whole point was answering questions on previous diaries though which is why I didnt answer questions about new stuff being asked even if those were good questions. A live q&a isnt a good place to show new mechanics etc.

The question about the parallel/serial production was a question about if we will be able to have a direct interface asking for x production lines producing y units, i.e. hoi3s "build 4x5 of this". Instead of having to create each serial line individually. In the pre-alpha demo that did not seem to be the case, and you first created a line and then specified the amount of runs it should have. Would cause a lot of needless clicking, but then again that was just pre-alpha.

I didnt answer your camo question. the german tanks in the tech tree wont have camos added, the reason the leichttraktor has camo is that the picture is actually of an FT-17

why? aircraft in the tech tree have camos, why not tanks?:( would you consider it to add camo for tanks? for the sake of immersion

Can we relocate factories? The Soviet Union did this to save her industry from the Germans. Germany was forced to relocate a huge amount of her industry to avoid the ongoing STRATbombing. And a lot of industry was moved in the aftermath of the French surrender.

My guess? The artists are creating the images based on bw photos...so if the photo they are using doesn't have camo...neither will the graphic.
