How the Chinese Type 44 ended up being bulgarian-turkish Super Heavy Tank Icons? Atleast remove that tiny thing infront of that it doesn´t work - ever heard of Applied mechanics?

shoi4_4.png

I even have no clue which metal or even which studies are made of material sciences studies holding that thing together.

Fixing that Issue is really simple for example:

Option 1:

tur - fix.png

Of course this looks a bit tiny for an Super-Heavy-Tank

Option 2:

tur - fix 2.png

By just stretching Chassis and Turret Ring we got a really good looking Super-Heavy-Tank Solution.

Option 3:

TurSuperHeavy.png

BulSuperHeavy.png

GreSuperHeavy.png

Of course these one would be new proposals and would even require new 3D-Model.

Why do you care so much about the icons when the very game mechanics is borked?

A merchantman penetrates 600mm armor (that's what those had historically) and disables the main turret. "Convoys are real bad boys!" (c) someone in a similar thread 18 months ago.

edit: they're also fine with destroying a propeller somehow.

China having a super heavy tank at all really is a huge fiction. So it actually seems to fit well that their super heavy would be Bulgarian-Turkish (I didn't know that they did design a super heavy TBH! Tho I can't find any thing resembling that design on google.) as National China got a lot of it's small arms from Turkey IRL (it also seems a great deal were Czech too...)

That´s not the problem here, we all would agree on that but this ist some sort of Alt-History and that thing is anything else then should be considered as a Tank. They should either remove that abnormity like in Option 1 or should consider something like Option 2 but no way that mechanical super heavy failure. It´s even against Physics.

Because it´s easy to fix and i already showed how while your problem is something different.
While I do agree with you the icon above makes little sense and is visually insultive, the problem with Paradox fixing (or rather, not fixing) issues seems to be their lack of a game supervisor dude, who'd be in power to poke other dudes left and right and set up proper priorities based on severity and ease of fixing.

My problem is actually equally easy to fix as yours, i.e. a while ago in my mod it took me a few seconds to fix this particular thing by just setting convoy damage to 0. Since then I'm yet to find a reason why having any attack value on convoys is good for a game which is all about military units. This idiocy of convoys destroying battleship's main turret is so immersion-breaking that in fact I'm itching to go back to modding and update for the current patch. That seems to be the only real option we have as regular players. Probably you too will just end up patching that icon for yourself and get done with it :)

When you say "that's what those had historically" you're thinking of...?
...of Yamato, up to 650mm of frontal main turret armor. Less at barbets, but if those would have been penetrated, the game would have told me 'magazines exploded'.

..of Yamato, up to 650mm of frontal main turret armor.

If the turret was penetrated, nothing indicated it wasn't done from the sides, where its armor is only 250mm thick. Besides, you don't necessarly need to penetrated the turret itself to disable it - for exemple, you simply need to break the power for it to hinder training and reloading to a point where the turret can no longer be used.

Well maybe this will take a while but actually

Your problem is not my problem. It´s also not the Issue that i want to adress on this Thread.

Ok, so reason is "because I told you so"?
I don't know but looking at the icon, it would hardly work because the heavy tank behind the small tractor (assuming it is actually a tractor, and not just a small "front trailer" - how do you call a trailer that is in the front?) is not a freewheeling caravan: it must have its own propulsion. Otherwise how could such a small tractor pull the 80t beast behind it? If the heavy tank is pushing the cart in front of it, where is the driver, how does it turn, and how does it cross gaps?

Granted, modern articulated buses are "pusher" types, but this articulated super-heavy tank looks to be a whole other level of complication.
