You will able to see BB rating, money, tech level of all countries!

If you want to see what it looks like, go here: http://members.nbci.com/huszics/indexeu.html and select tools and mods the left window.

Look in your saved game file

under badboy. You need to find your nations tag, like SPA=spain., for example.

Better yet, like Rex say, get EU_Spy.

yes, the Paradox programmers do read these forums a lot. But you have to successfully lure them into an interesting thread... usually with something like "free cheap German beer" in the subject topic.

Yep, you are right. The game gets boring, when you can't expand.

A way to keep BB low is imho to conquer every province except the capital and then later try to diplo-annex (or only vassalize) the capital. But that's not always possible, with those religions. And whatever BB-value it costs, if I can get the Atzecs and Inca's easy, I would also get them.

Also for the German States wait for some other country to annex them. Then go for that province in a war with the country that annexed the German state. If you manage to acquire that province you won't get an annex BB hit because you didn't annex anythin , and depending on if it was an offensive or defencive war would dictate if you get any BB points at all.

I use EUSpy, which can be found on Huszik's EU Site, linked from this board. You can also use an editor and search... But, EUSpy is quicker and easier to use.
