Even that wouldn't really make any sense. The Golden Horde was always dominated by power struggles from within. Claiming to be the complete Horde (which would descend from the original generation of Mongol conquerors) is a big deal.
This need to be changed.

In all seriousness, the English word 'Horde' comes from the Mongol word for 'army' or 'Ordu'. The 'golden' part of the name refers to one of the Turkic cardinal directions, which they referred to by colour. East was blue, west was white, and the centre is gold. The Golden Horde was a mongol state formed after the division of the Mongol empire into four territories. The name is nothing to do with their type of government.
Uh, UK didn't smash the Mughals. The Marathas did, and then the Persians and Afghans gobbled up the remains. And the last parts of Imperial rule were destroyed by the Sikhs (under British command) during the 1857 rebellion.
The Mughals certainly weren't weak either. They were far stronger than the Golden Horde ever was.

Didn't it just... end? Russia released some vassals, lost infamy, and there was no more dishonourable scum CB for the USA to keep warring with Russia. (The Cold War must have been a series of disconnected wars, just like the HYW.)
I would just keep calling it the Golden Horde.
But that had relatively little to do with the US.
Didn't Europe and USA enter economic depression as well, if somewhat delayed? You could say China smashed them all then.

Horde today has a different meaning, which is probably inspired by this name, than what Russian version Orda does.
Orda *should* be a word for a nomadic tent/yurt, and it was used because GH's khans or whatever, used to camp in a gilded tent/yurt, so impressed by this, Russians referred to them as such "Zolotaya Orda" literally meaning Golden Tent.
So if they are no longer horde, leave Golden Orda or something like that.
Or perhaps Steppe Sultanate?

Aurangzeb actually defeated the British East India Company decisively during his reign. Also are u forgetting about Nazi Germany smashing UK so hard that it took 60 years for them repay the loan to US. Does that make the British unimportant & weak? I don't think so. Every civilization reaches its zenith & after that it falls. (and long forgotten in some cases)

'Golden' sounds bad. Kipchak sultanate would be weird, since it's not age of nationalism yet, and there was plenty of different peoples on the steppes. Quite hard to name it after geographical placement. Maybe 'Sultanate of Volga', or 'Sultanate of Sarai' after capital city? Best way, I think, would be to name it after ruling dynasty if it reforms to sedentary sultanate. Such naming system exists in CK2 IIRC.

Worth pointing out that the Horde is actually shattered into several rather large parts in the EU4 start date (the remnants of the Golden Horde, the Crimea Khanate, and the Kazan Khanate), with the Astrakhan Khanate and the Sibir Khanate soon to emerge from the remnants of the Horde. Maybe a "Reform Golden Horde" decision would be in order.
I meant Reform as in re form, or reunite. A decision for Kazan or Crimea to tag switch to Golden Horde if it owns, say, the potential capitals of Crimea, Astrakhan, Kazan, and Sibir in addition to Sarai and the Horde doesn't exist.
