Please EU4 team,when the Golden Horde convert to a nomal nation,make him change his name to Golden Khaliphate,or only to Golden.Because a Golden Horde without being a horde is strange.
This need to be changed.

Kipchak Sultanate, Jochid Sultanate, anyone?
They wouldn't be a Caliphate though, they were at least partially considered a Sultanate even without changing their government. Caliphate is much more than a title. Not to say that I really find this all that important but it's fun to to play around with. Normally I'd just go into the game files and change such a thing myself. Maybe nice for flavor though.
I think all of them should be named "The Horde"

There was actually a time when I was playing the GH and I had converted and cored most of Russia. I modernized my government and spent a long time trying to think up a reasonable name for them, but I couldn't come up with anything that sounded appropriate.

Golden Khanate would be the most immersive, echoing the Crimean Horde->Crimean Khanate.
If you want a different name, then conquer south and become the Mughals. It's doubtful that EU4 will have V2's name changing mechanic, even if most of us want it.
First of all, if you form the Mughals as the Golden Horde, you're probably the strongest power in the game and not a "weak Indian empire." If you haven't been losing any ground, a Tartar Mughal empire would be most of Russia, at least half of greater Persia, and northern India. Secondly, nothing stops you from turning your sights on Europe once you tag change. At least try to sound reasonable.
Hopefully it wont matter too often either way. One of the big pros of 1444 over 1399 is that the weakened GH should not no match for Muscowy, ensuring the highly desirable rise of the Russian state. So, as far as I'm concerned, the proper name to show over these provinces a few decades down the road is, "Russia".
Very Well...EU4 team,you will add the option to change the name to Golden Khaganate after the end of the horde?
