I had a GREAT 9 years with Germany doing...Really nothing at all! I did the usual (taking back Austria and the Czechs) but backed down before taking Poland. I spent the first 2 years making Industry and researching, and that was it. I staged Coups in Norway and Finland, bringing them into Alliances and Puppeting Norway, securing Persia into my Alliance, along with Romania, Bulgaria and Hungay, and Spain (after which I immediately shuttled 40 flotillas of U-Boats into Spanish ports in the Med) but never could get a hold of Poland - oh well.
After I DOW'd Yugoslavia in '45 France finally had enough and DOW'd me. Poland (allied with France, Britain) couldn't do anything because I had fortified our borders, the British and French Airforces were decimated by my Turbojet interceptors, and just to say "thanks, France" I nuked Paris with an ICBM. Soviet Union is still hanging out (we have +60 relations, even though I rejected the ribbentrop pact) and things look good.
This is the scenario I'd always wanted to do in Vanilla HOI, but France always DOW'd me in '40. Thanks Stony Road!
