Well, right now I've got some extra IC into supplies so I can start stockpiling. I'm making about 15 extra supplies per day. But every fifth day or so, my supply demand goes up to over 50 IC and I lose over 120 supplies on that day. At this rate, I end up losing more supplies on that one day than I've made on the four days preceding it. This means that I'm actually losing supplies overall. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I can fix it, if I can? Thanks in advance.

I'd suppose those are for convoys

or trades in which your partner can not actually gather enough of his resources every day. But more likey convoys

Well I looked at it and yes, it's convoys. The AI had put over 50 transports on the Palermo-Tripoli route, and thus were transporting a lot of supplies. When I tried to manually manage the transports, I realized why. I had so many troops in Libya that they needed all those supplies. Well, needless to say I'm not going to try to manage convoys myself again. Thanks for the help.

It's weird, though. If my supply stockpiles are going down because I'm convoying them elsewhere then that means that my country isn't really losing supplies, right? But over time the stockpile is still going down. Does the resource counter on the top of the screen only count resources in the stockpile in your capitol? That might be what it is.

Yes that is your national stockpile in your capital. You will have intermediate stockpiles of supplies waiting to be used and resources waiting to be shipped back to your capital but none of these are included in any counts.
