Trying to get the achievement for this is madness!

According to the hoi4 wiki it's an easy achievement, but I digress

"
The Megali Idea involves you, UK, and France agreeing to attack and split up Turkey so you are guaranteed the land required in the peace deal. Do note that the UK and France can individually bail on the war when you complete the focus to attack Turkey even if they agreed at the convention, but it is still easy to beat Turkey with just one of them and is possible to beat them by yourself.

The decision to form Greater Greece is unlocked either by the focus "Nenikikamen" while your leader is not Georgios Kosmidis, by completing the focus "The Modern Movement" and choosing to have "Ioannis Metaxas" as your country leader, or by completing the focus "Prepare for the Great Anti-Fascist War"."

Ok. IF they agree. But what if they don't agree?

Now I have wasted more time than I should trying to do this achievement and I have tried historical and non-historical paths. UK and France keeps on denying it.

Historical on, did all the debt clearance and still -- decline.
Historical on, improve relations -- decline
Historical off, rush the focus -- decline

Not sure if you saw this post from last week, but I found it very helpful. Here is the relevant part.

Not sure about the chances, but I did four mini-runs as Greece so far (two Ironman) and the Anglo-French accepted twice, the French alone once, and once they refused to attend.
  • When both Britain and France accepted and joined the war, I had maximised their opinion, as well as completed the Luxury Exports focus (for additional opinion modifiers) and been completely uncooperative with the EEE.
  • When both accepted but only France joined the war, I had done likewise, but I had cooperated with EEE in a single event popup.
  • When both refused to even attend, I had been cooperative with the EEE and collaborated with them (basically going for a Byzantine run anyway). This prompted a fascist coup against the democratic government, despite EEE having only about 25% of the pie; I went for it anyway.
  • Inviting Italy is irrelevant. In one of the runs, they consented to everything, weren't called to war, and still got territories around Bodrum and Antalya in the peace deal, only to lose them to my forces the moment they went to war with the Allies. Just try and take the territories for yourself; you can core at least half of Turkey's southern coast with decisions.

Basically, if you max opinions with the UK and France before you begin the Megali convention, don't mess around with the Fascists, and complete the "Expand our Tobacco Industry" focus, they should be agreeable at the convention, and both will join the war later. I followed this exact advice on 1.10, and it worked like a charm.

Juat look at the gamefiles. It is a complete coinflip in 1.10.1, since there isn't a ai_weight set. Both nations decide with a 50:50 chance if they wanna join. In beta 1.10.2 ai_weights are added but opinion or tobacco industry is fully irrelevant. It depends if they have over 20% warscore.
