1. Faction Meeting is a meeting of members of a Senate Faction hold in the Sacred Palace during which noble Senators gather to discuss (in-character) state of affairs of the Imperium Romanum.
2. Faction Meeting is called, opened and closed by the President of the Senate at the request of a Faction Leader. The request has to be approved by the President of the Senate.
3. Faction Leader notifies members of the Faction he leads about the Faction Meeting after his request is approved.
4. Faction Leader ensures order and decorum during Faction Meeting and is responsible for every violation of the Rules of Procedure which occurs during the Faction Meeting.
5. Faction Meeting lasts for 48 hours and may only be called after at least 24 hours has passed since the previous Faction Meeting. Each Faction can request one Faction Meeting to be hold between every two chapters.
6. Faction Meeting takes place in:
- Atrium of Church of the Virgin of the Pharos (White Demes)
- Hall of Augusteus in Palace of Daphne (Red Demes)
- Neptune's Balcony in Boukelon Palace (Blue Demes)
7. During Faction Meeting members of the Imperial Senate Guard ensure safety of the noble Senators.
8. During Faction Meeting noble Senators may read or write letters to NPCs (non-playable characters) from their House.

Yes.

BTW I hope you learned a valuable lesson today. If you choose to ignore fellow senators and vote for yourself, well, you ain't going to achieve anything. You have to act as Factions to achieve needed majority. IMHO we saw a failure of leadership in all of the Factions - no matter what Faction Leaders said, all senators voted however they wanted. The end effect is that during this - very immportant, may I add - Session the whole Senate was paralyzed. With no negotations between Factions, no agreements, no "vote trading" the Factions effectively were reduced to their Leaders, thus making each Faction "worth" exactly 1 vote. Lots of absences didn't help of course, since senators who are on album senatorium[/b] but did not show up artificially raised the required majorities.

To sum this up, the Imperial Senate is not functioning properly like all parliaments ever. Making one post about what your opinion is and then remaining silent for the rest of the Session leads to what we saw today. And since I spent several hours of my free time to make sure everything goes well, I'm dissapointed to see that I could basically skip the whole Third Session and it wouldn't change anything.

Your character will die when the time is due. It's advised to call for Red Demes meeting or when you die the whole Demes will be left without a leader for the next Session.

No. There are only three Factions because that's what game allows. If you want to enjoy privileges which Factions have, join one of them.

The Senate results are a CLEAR showing of how important Domenico was to the political process. Now all we have is political stalemate. Shame his mind got a bit too fuzzy at the end.

Can't wait to see the next chapter, it'll be much more closely defined by what Czoklet chooses.

The Blue Demes remain the largest faction, but the Whites still hold power. Another fun debate, and I'm interested if the Emperor was swayed by any Senator's words despite us failing to reach the required amount to force your hand on all but one of the issues. At least the expedition is going to happen. Not only will we get to see more of this mad world, the Blue Demes will gain some influence.

As for the Faction Meeting, will my current character or his successor be going? This was certainly Gaius' last Session.
