Deny the Rhineland until Britain refuses to help and Germany doesn't back down. Overwhelm Germans after civil war with your superior numbers and annex them. From that point build whatever you want

Probably unhelpful, but curious : isn't figuring out all this stuff - what to build, what to research, how to spend what where, when and how to deal with threats and targets - the very point of a strategy game ? I must admit I've always considered strategy games just puzzle games with very, very, very big and complex equations ; and thus I don't really understand what's left to do if you ask the puzzle's solution to someone else.

Probably the easiest way is actually to declare war on Britain yourself once theyre at war with Germany, which allows you to join the Axis and not have Germany go to war with you. Britain shouldnt stand much of a chance against 3 majors, and then you can take their territory and puppet their dominions (and them) as long as you get enough warscore. Then build up your forces at your leisure, wait for Germany to attack the Soviets, then you can backstab them when they look worn down or vulnerable.

Honestly last time I did this I dont think I ever got rid of the doctrine debuff, so was just on the default one. Focused more on air supremacy. Didnt need to do anything fancy, just default infantry and some motorized to exploit gaps and encirclements.

Interesting question and Id actually agree, the discovery is a huge portion of the fun. But its also personally fun to see other peoples’ strategies so you can change up your game.

Also this game is notoriously obtuse when it comes to explaining what does what and whats supposed to work, so I dont ever blame people for asking for a starting point.

A lot of it is hard to experiment with even, since the feedback you get from the game is not really clear. There are times when you are just staring dumbfounded at the game thinking “well that should have worked logically…”

Well i tried a game, and germany had a civil war. I invaded the benelux and invaded britain, and declared war on germany in 1939. I tried holding benelux with level 5 forts but germany broke through with medium tanks so i need to get level 10 tanks or i should team with uk.
