This game still has major issues with the drone AI...

For instance, I have a Martian University with a full storage for Electronics right next to it and the drones refuse to repair it. I have to demolish and rebuild it.

In fact, I can literally build a new university right next to the one that's broken, which itself requires Electronics to build.

There is also no way to manually tell a drone to go perform the repair. Will this ever be addressed or is this game dead?

Hello! It's safe to assume that the priority of the university is set to High and the drone hub load where the university is located is low?

One option to solve the issue is to position an RC commander in a way that its area of influence include the university and the eletronics needed to repair it.

I relocated three RC commanders to the vicinity. Each had only one drone, but still there was no repairing happening.

Huuum, I would say try and limit the area of influence of the RC Commander so it encompasses not much more than the building that needs maintenance and the resources, so the drones don't get distracted with anything else.

As a last resort, if the building has already malfunctioned, you can manually select a drone and right click on the building that needs fixing. If the resource is near the drone, it will pick it up and head to the building to fix it.

No. I set nothing to high priority, except LITERALLY this university. It still doesn't help.

We've had these kind of bugs in the past where one building would become invisible to drones. Try restarting the game/restarting your computer.
