for proving time and time that senior citizens can be active members of the community.

Let's see what did my latest monarch, who ascended to the throne at the venerable age of 54 years old, which was ancient for the time. He was known as ''the ill runner'', as he ascended the throne maimed because of a wound during a minor rebellion.

His exploits include...

-At 56 years old, he smashed a major rebellion of vassals.
-At 58 years old, he led a crusade against Bulgaria (victorious)
-At 63 years old, he led armies to crush Scotland, and thereafter was crowned Emperor of Britannia
-From 67 to 71 years old, he defended the Britannian Kingdom of Jerusalem against a double Djihad (Fatimid and Seljuk). During those years, he personally led the Briannian armies in well over 30 majors battles (and destroyed personally 12 doomstacks of over 15k)
-At 75 years old, he led a second crusade in Anatolia (victorious)
-And even more impressive, after his re-wedding (at 72 years old) he fathered seven children with his new bride before dying at 82 (presumably of exhaustion).

The funniest thing is: since they have a whole lifetime to adjust their skills and traits and a large long reign bonus, as well as lots of prestige and piety, elderly characters are the ones that accomplish the most.

King Conn the Bold ruled from the age of 19 to the age of 82 (63 years).
He went from Count of Isle of Man, Carrick, and Galloway to Duke of Clydesdale, Ulster, and the Isles, to King of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England in that time period; sired 13 legitimate children and 1 illegitimate child. His eldest was born in 1088, his youngest in 1147 (imagine having an older sister already dead of old age).
Yeah. He accomplished a lot, I'd say.

Haha, yeah I know what you mean. I'll always remember Emperor Pere "The Lion" who rose from King of Aragon to completing the reconquista and becoming Emperor at the humble age of 89, despite being maimed and infirm  Sometimes I fell like I'm in Westeros with how old some of the characters can be while still functioning.

I'm reminded of my first Tyrannical queen of Ireland. She lived for 95 years and was crowned on day one With the irish crown at an all time low. The monarchs control had been beatin back to the capital in Dublin you see, the army was crushed and though she was born queen she was queen in name alone. 16 years passed and her regent was able to reunite portions of Meath and Lienster to build a power base for the now adolescent queen. on that year she went through Nine husbands until finally she found one who wouldn't die after a week. With the child of the king of Scotland in her belly she set out to unite the kingdom which she did handily by targeting the provinces controlled directly by her father's enemies, the duke of Ulster, Connacht and Munster. Upon restoring the lands of the crown by the age of 18 her reign took a dark turn. The true nature of Faye the Cruel was realized when she Seized all county titles and executed their previous holders one by one. The realm was awash in blood. by year 92 of her reign she was despised and had only great grandchildren to be her heirs. Her dominion included whales, Brittany and the northern half of Hispania but alas her rule would end when at last the great diplomat Brian the first wrest the throne from her control and the realm rejoiced at the death of the mad queen

seriously my general approval went from an average of 5, to 62.. tax revenue sky rockted

Well, I didn't know you could actually control sea provinces.

yes yes.. .she ruled over a pod of Blue whales.. and also the kingdom of Wales.. you see they where staying in the irish sea when she was on her way to claim the welsh crown.. she met a man name Jones inside of one of them.. it was all quite a touching scene.

(lol yeah ok that was a bad typo)
