how about some of the AGEOD / PARADOX FRANCE games?
then you've gotten your money's worth. Games aren't meant to be infinitely replayable; it sounds like you've played it at least dozens, and more like hundreds of games. Congrats, you've played the game out; and probably played thousands of horus. So go buy another.
I've never in my life gotten more out of a game.
+1
And for the price.. nothing comes close.
Honestly I`ve only had the game for about a week and I find myself playing 20 years or so then quitting and starting over again with another nation...repeating etc...etc...Not entirely sure either...I suppose I Just feel like I am doing the same over and over again, putting merchants in markets, starting little and joining little wars where I can barely gain a province without tons of infamy (yes I understand the CB etc...) When I played as portugal it seemed like colonizing was a very tedious process of the same thing over and over again. Not entirely sure really, maybe it`s just that right now I`ve become a bit bored of video games in general (although I haven`t been playing them for quite some time) Also, it`s not because I am on of those people that needs flashy graphics and constant killing-action.. I much prefer a good stragey game with indepth diplomacy, economy, many decisions etc...
...perfect example of that sort of thing would be MoO 3 vs the spectacular (IMO) MoO 2.
...Tin Soldiers and its ilk are awesome...
...The absolute best, most realistic tactical games all seem to be civil war games. I remember one, the name escapes me, where you couldn't see your soldiers and had to issue your orders by messenger and pray that they were timely, relevant, received and would be followed, and as much as I really enjoyed that kind of realism and strategic depth ....
