I have some terrible news. I had to give my laptop up to my mom as collateral for a loan, in order to keep up with bills and such for the next month. I am almost certain to be without a playing computer for the next two months, thus am sorry to have to leave the game. But with such a huge influx of players, at least I can go with the assurance that there will be a smooth transition of power in Austria, to some person or another.
Oh no! This game will not be the same without you John... Eh, I know how disturbing can financial issues be. Good luck. Stay with us.

I will not comment those off topic. Some people seems to be boring. Happens.

There are again few things we need to vote in order to avoid long discussion:

1. What scenario:
A. The one from UNI2 (with shipyard to Venice?)
B. FAL's 1419

2. What year do we generate explorers and conquistadors:
A. 1500
B. 1550

3. Force peace rule:
A. The one from UNI2
B. Rule from TfG2 (in first post now)


We will not vote number of provinces in one war rule. It is obvious it should be 5, I simply forgot to change it.

And who can take over Austria?

the main issue with your rule hal is that we can't even stabhit till we got 99ws
alow us to stabhit and its a fine rule

If I remember correctly we made it 99ws to avoid situation when big country is defeated by small one just because it gained some ws and is ruining opponent with rebels.

as krisz asked already...to forbid alliance peaces just favors some nations over others in my opinion...so i want it to be possible! :)
There was too much fuss with alliance peaces in UNI2, it will be allowed here.

With the resignation of John, why not move Dane to Austria instead? I think it would be a good fit.

Aladar thinks -15% TE from embargo is not enough and that we should lower TE in trade.csv file, so that make it sometihing like -40% (like it was in UNI2). It will not lower colonisation profits, but will keep trade at some normal level, so I decided we do this (no voting :p). We will simply lower TE in csv by around 30% and use embargo rule, so together -45%. Should work fine and give some motion to politics (not all will embargo only AIs ;) ).

I have a problem with making new stats for our game. Anyone remember how to do it on Tonio's site? (New Tour is not working).
