The way Cavalry Scout presents his "case" it sounds like he expects every person and every company that he has ever paid a couple of dollars to be available to him 24/7 under any circumstances. Very presumptuous, not to mention a bit arrogant. He must expect his bank to open up for him in the middle of the night if he doesn't feel like using the atm.

I have thinking about the June 6th release date for Semper Fi, and realise that I have been selfish. At no time did I consider the Paradox and Gamersgate staff who will have to work on Sunday to ensure a smooth release.

Why should these people have to work on their hard-earned day off just to get a game out to us?

So I think that, to allow all those dedicated staff a good weekend's rest, that the game should be released today, Friday the 4th June. I realise it is not the anniversary of the Normandy landings, but it is the anniversary of the Battle of Midway, which is probably more appropriate considering the Pacific War theme of the Marines' motto "Semper Fi".

My pre-load says 9 hours left (from about 1pm EST) , so that would give me about 2-3 hours of pre-load time before June 6th actually hits.
