Thinking about doing a LP of HOI3 with BI, need advice

Hi, I'm considering doing a Let's Play of HOI3, but I've never done a game recording of any kind before and could use some advice.

I'm looking for software that's free, that's important! I'd like to record in 720p as that seems to be easy on the eyes and readable. And it would need to record my audio as well. I've looked at some possible programs and LoiLo seems like it has potential, but as I never done this before I just don't know.

Any of you highly experienced LP folks out that could advise on this?

Might be worth talking to some of the guys who do this regularly and find out what software and set-up they use. You could contact them through YouTube.

I just used Fraps and WMM when I did my TW videos, but the results weren't perfect, especially on the audio.
