I don't think I'll be just making the game easier like in the OPs post, but if there's extra content I will certainly add it.
If is a key word there. Sometimes they gain the trait themselves. That being said, though, I agree that there's way too many purely positive and purely negative traits. It's a little disappointing.Who would ever in their right mind choose Arbitrary over Just in CK2? If you've ever offered an event to choose between the two there's no choice. Even for roleplaying reasons, since the events themselves are the moment when the character makes the choice. There's just no incentive.
CK1's traits aren't perfect, but they're a damn sight more interesting than those in CK2.
Love the changes to opinion and some of the traits. Definitely should help the gameplay.I modded quite a lot:

Sadly King (Paradox employee) has confirmed that it's Hard-coded to be unplayable for DLC reasons, so my mod probably won't be able to allow you to by default (though people could probably set a pagan character as their main one in a Save-file to let them in, but still, I'd be writing a bunch of events and content for like 3% of people who might download the mod before the DLC comes out?).
I'd still be including the corrections in my mod, though, even if it makes the region even tougher for Christians (especially since it'll start in 1030 after the Battle of Stiklestad and the death of Saint Olaf at the hands of a popular uprising and the transfer of Norwegian authority to Cnut the Great, who - although a convert to Christianity himself - basically let who-ever was loyal to him rule).
Oh they will just in shorter time spans.Nothing changes as far as centuries and generations and time span goes.

Traits are retarded.
Of course something changes. Like the fact that you can do much more with you current ruler rather than have to wait for the next (maybe horrible one, who couldn't change anything). I'm not criticizing your prefrences, but as someone said, would make things too easy (for me at least).
I'd like to see a way to make counts or barons playable, that way I could rise up from the lowest tier represented in the game to a king. The mechanics would be hard to get right but it'd totally be worth looking at.
Council positions are described at common/job_titles.txt
Just remove female=no and it will be fine.
Not quite. You also need to go into each job event file and remove the female=no from the triggers if you want them to actually do anything. Otherwise events won't fire for female council members in most cases.
