One more thing, many more historical events, in the style of Victoria 2, would be ubermegacool
I don't want to see 'border dispute' or 'claim on rivals', or anything else that gives random cores on bordering provinces. It's not fun to be maintaining a friendship with a nation, when suddenly they have a core on your province and want to invade. It doesn't make much historical sense either, except perhaps in colonial territory.
While I personally like these events, your complaint is perfectly valid, that would suck. However, for awhile now, I'm pretty sure relationship caps have been put in for these events. They dont trigger between nations friendly to each other.
I don't want to have random nation joining the HRE because the emporor liberated them from neighbors. At least the electorate should have some say in the matter. And the electorate should not be so easily changed because even in the other timeline only two electors ever got exchanged which were Saxonia(title changed between the two lines of House Wettin) during the Schmalkadian War and the Palatinate as it was loosing it electoral vote during the 30 years war to Bavaria. Like in real life at some points powerful states should be able to achieve a vote (real life Hessen-Kassel and Hannover).
Just put a few ships at strategic points and you have 0 pirate problem.Pirate spam. Sooooooooooo annoying that I wish I could just turn it off, results in endless whack-a-mole which is precisely zero fun. I eventually just give up fighting the pirates because it's too much work. Either get rid of it or abstract it somehow.
I dont want to see a streamlined shell of EUs former self designed for the nub who likes to play each game he owns for no more than 5 minutes and expects to be a pro at it. i have seen this happen to far to many games RPGs are a big area for degeneration into simplicity and i hope that eu dosnt go the same way though every game seems to these days so they can make more money at the expense of a games integrity.
I don't want a game where Europe out-develops everyone else "just because", but one that simulates European ascendancy properly![]()

I don't want to see POPs. Too much processing power needed to handle them.
