1. Any war between the Allies and Soviet Russia would have ended with Nicaragua, Britain, and Liberia capturing Moscow in two years.

2. Canada could easily have developed Nukes. They chose not to.

3. Given enough time, ANY country could have easily beaten any other.

4. Spies aren't the James Bond types you see in movies. They get wiped out real quick.

5. Stalin must have sucked hardcore. Russia should have ran over Germany in 5 minutes if that.

Seach wikipedia for a list of nations and their Nuclear capabilites. There are a lot of countries that could develop nukes in no time according to the article, but choose not to. Germany is a prime example as well as Japan. If I remember correctly, Canada was capable of doing it real quick. If you don't care, the article is interesting anyway intellectually. I liked it. And if Israel has no nukes Iraq has no camels.

If I remember correctly, we did help out with the Manhatten Project, and we do have some peaceful nuclear technology. And to say that we have never had nukes isn't quite correct, we almost bought them for our BOMARC missile systems, and the CF-101 Voodoo had a couple of rockets with nuclear warheads to take down Soviet bombers.

Canada had (still has) the technology and the how-to to build nukes at the same time England did.

Its leaders took a no-proliferation stance, but Canada even today has all it needs to build nukes. If it started a program tomorrow, it would be over far before the iranians even managed to get civil nuclear energy.
