med2?Flashbacks to med2 making turks and Egypt the same
I'm still wondering why they made Dyre Ragnar's grandson. Especially since it means not having a separate dynasty. Is that some bs from Vikings tv show? All of Ragnar's children are now of the same dynasty instead of each having their own dynasty. Ivar is still the head. Dyre, Jarl of Kiev, now becomes a bastard founder after he has a second son born and gets his own dynasty.
chronicles man, you get the weirdest stuff, like lech czech and rus being squabbling brothersI'm still wondering why they made Dyre Ragnar's grandson. Especially since it means not having a separate dynasty. Is that some bs from Vikings tv show?
It's not in the chronicles they are mentioned in, that's the thingchronicles man, you get the weirdest stuff, like lech czech and rus being squabbling brothers
Yep, I agree. This seems worth a bug report.
Surely that's anti-blobbing, no? Liege has multiple kingdoms but you own more than half of one of them so instead declare yourself to be the true king and become independent. As if blobbing wasn't easy enough already they added action to buy for prestige claim on your liege's title if you own 51% of de iure.
Are you a duke? IIRC the "Too many held duchies" penalty only happens if you're a king or emperor.I have more than two duchies and I don't see the opinion penalty. Was that changed (and not mentioned in the notes)? Or what could be the cause? (Two of the titles are normal succession, two are scandinavian).
Weren't they already Isma'ili? The Fatimids are their own type of Islamic religion, unless it was mentioned. The patch notes are too huge so I probably missed it.
Interesting - Wiki needs updating for those then.Dualist rework: these faiths consider each other righteous by default and don't have gnostic tenet. Furthermore, some of them got new tenets (mandeans being christian syncretic).
Patch notes mention changes to Yapaniya religion:
- Yapaniya Jainism now has the vows of poverty tenet
- Yapaniya Jainism now no longer has the Natural Primitivism tenet, their monks will however still be naked
Although, if you choose to play Maharaja Amoghavarsha of the Rashtrakuta Kingdom in 867AD several of the starting courtiers and guests besides the monk are still naked. There are also a number of Yapaniyans in other courts or wandering that are still naked. If you demand someone conversion to Yapaniya, that person will wear clothing
There's another new Jewish culture in India as well. I'm not sure if it's on the map at the start but it's in the game files, to represent the Cochin Jews. There is new jewish culture and playeble character in 867 east to Crimea.
I obtained one while holding courtThere absolutely seems to be more nicknames. I had someone be "Murdered" (on the "outliving a child" screen) and their cause of death was listed as "Decapitated by (Killer's name, can't remember it)" and they had the nickname "The Headless". (Although maybe they simply died in battle. They were a knight at the time they died and I was in a war.)
I've seen more people with nicknames in general. Seems like they added more of them, and they're a bit easier to obtain instead of being this super ultra rare thing.
