Dualist rework: these faiths consider each other righteous by default and don't have gnostic tenet. Furthermore, some of them got new tenets (mandeans being christian syncretic).

All of Ragnar's children are now of the same dynasty instead of each having their own dynasty. Ivar is still the head. Dyre, Jarl of Kiev, now becomes a bastard founder after he has a second son born and gets his own dynasty.
I'm still wondering why they made Dyre Ragnar's grandson. Especially since it means not having a separate dynasty. Is that some bs from Vikings tv show?

As if blobbing wasn't easy enough already they added action to buy for prestige claim on your liege's title if you own 51% of de iure.
Surely that's anti-blobbing, no? Liege has multiple kingdoms but you own more than half of one of them so instead declare yourself to be the true king and become independent.

I have more than two duchies and I don't see the opinion penalty. Was that changed (and not mentioned in the notes)? Or what could be the cause? (Two of the titles are normal succession, two are scandinavian).
Are you a duke? IIRC the "Too many held duchies" penalty only happens if you're a king or emperor.

AFAIK, that's actually one of the few benefits you get by deciding to stay as a duke, although the reasoning behind it might be because dukes can't hold other dukes as vassals.

Some pretty major ones which I think weren‘t mentioned:

- Vlach culture now has its own vlach heritage (a great change from their south slavic heritage which was somewhat understandable but very questionable)
- Tocharian culture now has its own tocharian heritage seperate from the iranian heritage, a sensible change as the tocharians represent a much earlier indo-european migration into the region

I mean we essentially got two completely new culture groups which is a pretty exiting addition imo

The Fatimids are their own type of Islamic religion, unless it was mentioned. The patch notes are too huge so I probably missed it.
Weren't they already Isma'ili?

And there's a new formable Kingdom of Livonia, and two new Israeli cultures (one starts in Khazaria in 867, the other is in India somewhere?)

Do they lower the life expectancy? I often start with a 50 y/o ruler and after a bit of iteration and at least 1 generation after that I found myself dying to old age/natural death much quicker than pre-patch (Last patch I played was 1.4.4). I feel that dying duo to old age or natural death is more prevalent now? Or is this just confirmation bias? I need some of your opinion on this.
EDIT: I also found that as you get older (50+) it's very likely that you will get hit with Lunatic/Infirm/Melancholic no? I pretty much never get hit by Lunatic & Infirm before during my playthrough. Melancholic perhaps a few times.

Patch notes mention changes to Yapaniya religion:
- Yapaniya Jainism now has the vows of poverty tenet
- Yapaniya Jainism now no longer has the Natural Primitivism tenet, their monks will however still be naked
Although, if you choose to play Maharaja Amoghavarsha of the Rashtrakuta Kingdom in 867AD several of the starting courtiers and guests besides the monk are still naked. There are also a number of Yapaniyans in other courts or wandering that are still naked. If you demand someone conversion to Yapaniya, that person will wear clothing

It works the same way as other religions were "priests" are naked, some traits, like zealous, will still make characters take of their clothes. :)

There absolutely seems to be more nicknames. I had someone be "Murdered" (on the "outliving a child" screen) and their cause of death was listed as "Decapitated by (Killer's name, can't remember it)" and they had the nickname "The Headless". (Although maybe they simply died in battle. They were a knight at the time they died and I was in a war.)

I've seen more people with nicknames in general. Seems like they added more of them, and they're a bit easier to obtain instead of being this super ultra rare thing.

I obtained one while holding court
and with my first character through a lifestyle event, so yes, it is more frequent
