Problem is as the game adds more features it's inevitable the interface is going to take a bit of a hit. It's the same with EUIV. The devs have to invent spaces :D Problem with that above, there's too much space and the graphics are all boxed in. Needs polish.

That Tech tree is huge. They have even added in stuff such as fire methods and amunition into it. I wonder how the other Tech trees will soon look like if that is the future.

I really wish they'd completely revamp that; it's such an ugly, blocky, outdated layout, and it just looks awful. I'm not criticizing the mechanics or the research system itself, just the layout. It looks like something from 2005.

Dont wanna be an asshole but I must say I agree. To much scrolling, not very friendly for a new player to get into. Some of the icons for the techs doesn't look that good, the turrets and the radar have a whole other style than the others. Rather than an abstract symbol is a plain picture of a turret. What is the upper submarine techs supposed to be? If they now are final.
Not a big issue but worth a mention. Seams to be fun though. :)

And whats up with the mixing of horisontal and vertical techtrees.?

Edit: Something I learned myself why playing is often or sometimes i miss/forget some techs just because you need to scroll to find them. I have them in mind that i should pick em but i dont. And its the special trooop techs and naval invasion techs, and I guess it just because ju need to scroll to find em. Getting a a good overview is kind of important i suppose. This seams to start to becoming a problem with the new massive NFs and the new expanded techs.

yes its a bit ugly, visualy they should work a bit in that becose all coments are really true.

The mixing of horizontal and vertical tech trees has been in the game since day 1. It may not be the most user friendly, but it is obviously an attempt to make more efficient use of the space to avoid there being even more need to scroll.

i think he was talking of types of shells but game doesnt have so deep components in battle.

If we're talking about tech trees, it has always bugged me that on the electronics research screen the 1936 "Electronic Mechanical Engineering" tech is in line with the 1940 "Atomic Research" tech. Move Atomic Research down so it's in line with the 1940 tech "Improved Computing Machine".

Regarding the previous posts about motorized artillery - were there any indications about how this would work? Speed 12, like motorized infantry, you just need some extra trucks?
