Human nature changed abruptly in 1356 with the creation of the HRE. Generals, always and forever pious and loyal; never rebelled against their host countries, defected, or inherited the country as temporary rulers. This was in stark contrast to generals from the Roman period, who would constantly spark rebellions and civil wars.

Scotland will fight for years against English rule, calling upon thousands and thousands of able-bodied Highlanders for aid.

Yet once they are vassalized, in as little as ten years time, when asked about annexation they reply "Sure! Sounds great!"

After the Polish conquest of asia, the last refuge of the mongol empire was Denmark.

Did that really happen to you?

After the fall of the British isles to the supreme might of Mecklenburg, the last bastion of all things English was a province in Siberia. England eventually conquered all of Russia.

Great Britain, or England as to some refer, possessed the world's strongest navy comprised almost entirely of big ships. English kings, however, would often cave in to continental enemies and relinquish control of early British kingdoms such as Cornwall or Northumberland. Sometimes European soldiers never set foot onto the Isles.

The Persian Empire briefly controlled lands stretching from the port of Basra to the steppes of Khiva and the Indus Valley. However, a disasterous war with the Ottoman Empire forced the lion to grant independence to several nations. These include Iraq, Shabankara, the Muzzafarids, and the Shiite Sultanate of Georgia.

The power and glory of a great European nation could be roughly measured by how much land one controlled in Scandinavia.

Military history has shown that while marching to the front often decimated armies through starvation and disease, fighting in battles made soldiers practically immune to these ills of war. One can only speculate what readily available meat-source made every supply-route redundant during the engagements.

It has also become evident that a country's ability to come up with new inventions declines proportionally to the amount of land, universities and scholars a nation possess. This explains why isolated land-locked free-cities in Germany often developed plans for new ship models long before colonial behemoths.

Battles were never fought in large formations unless the aggressors were of a certain 10 : 1 ratio, by which the smaller army was almost always completely annihilated. Instead, Commanders agreed never to leave the region and instead waged Guerilla wars for weeks at a time. During this time God prevented all soldiers from dying of anything but combat.

Every couple of days Commanders would use only range or artillery units, followed by the next day's infantry and cavalry charges. This was referred to as the Shock phase of 14th century combat.

Superior European musket infantry would always inflict thousands of casualties on Malinesian armies, while suffering few, if any, casualties of their own; even if numbering only 3000 to the Malinesian 50,000 troops.

Even if a nation had the technology to acquire a new unit with tactics close to other nearby nations, said nation could inflict thousands of casualities to them

Makes no sense. Because it is obvious. Truism.
So if the enemy has latin caracaole and you have charge cavalry it makes sense to inflict upon them thousands of thousands casualities?
And if it is truism,it does make sense indeed :p

Well it is all matter of luck. Plus they may have god general, and defend in mountains...
I'm talking about myself,i inflicted thousands of thousands casualities to them without having a general and with them defending in mountains(i was around land tech 28 and they land tech 26 so not much different and both western group)
It also seems that in the period covered by the game the timurids would collapse within 3-5 years and a nation that had been captured for centuries "Persia"would form out of blue

Well, 28 LT = new awesome infantry units(land 27 new awesome gallop cavalry), which make grand difference. At best they might use charge infantry, while you used propably gustavian infantry. Plus there is slight fire/shock modifire difference between LT 26 and LT 28.

If they were eastern tech group, they had at best eastern musketers, which are crappy. and you got cavalry, that is superior to eastern when you are at land tech 28... (you got gallop, they at best, have cossacks).

If they were any other tech group that those, well not like they stand a chance... (unles they would be Hindu, but i suppose hindu would be much more tech backwards)

And men, it is just truism as i sad. In reality it is same - tanks when first used on the battlefield, were disasterous for enemy.
