Comets fell frequently to the Earth in the period of 1399 - 1821, some modern day historians still wonder why the hundreds of comets that fall every day have yet did any damage to the Earth and it's populaces, physically, not psychologically. There is speculation of a greater being manipulating certain countries at certain intervals, there are rumours of a world known as "outside" but such hypothesises have been branded Heresy by the remainder of the Catholic Church who presently reside in their last stronghold of Alaska

And the sighting of these comets could destabilize even the most modern European empires.

Kings sleeping with random nobles would always result in the birth of a child moments after conception.
Hilarious! Hadn't really paid that much attention to it. I guess that's why the heir always has super-low legitimacy-- the King's sleeping with a woman who's already 8.75+ months pregnant!

Also, despite the frequency of comet sightings, only one nation observed each comet. A small city-state may see it, but all the neighboring German regions ignore it completely. Then, on the return trip to the outer solar system, one of the neighboring regions sees it, but the others do not.

Only to not honour it when time comes...
Nations only dishonored their alliance with one unlucky country throughout Early Modern history. They were absolutely loyal to everyone else.

Not realy. I saw poland dishonouring alliance with both me and lithuania in my Teutonic order game. If country see you are stronger, it is more likely to dishonour its alliance with the country you attack.

Might've been said already, but eh... The tribes of the world always mourned their dead rulers by sending a lot of their kinsmen to an early grave as well. This strange ritual was said to last for approximately two years and an indeterminate number of days - no longer than a month. Only after this was the new King accepted as such - if the new King died during the succession crisis, his successor wouldn't have to face the full duration of the ritual in order to be legitimised.

polish province of królewiec?
Where's that?

As you've probably seen in Strange screenshots, England tends to revolt against the UK and form in it's southern provinces, adopting islam as a state religion.

When the few inhabitants of a province started a revolt against their oppressor, they somehow multiplied their number with three or four and went into battle with their whole families, even infants were thrown at the enemy. Scientists research this fact unsuccesfully so far.

A mysterious man named Avindian led Tuscany to greatness, only for hs empire to die out at the end of his socalled AAR, the meaning of which historians still debate.

The Ming empire could only declare war and colonize when certain "factions" were in control

When one of these comets were sighted, all countries had a ritual where they made their leader which of four things they wanted to say. Historians ponder on why, as all of them had exactly the same effect.

The names of nations in the middle-east, such as 'Mamluks' 'Ottomans' 'Timurids' and such were not at all reflections of the ruling dynasty, but of the feelings of the people. people in southern turkey truly knew that they were citizens of 'Karaman' even if they were ruled by Candarli's.

Excited whisperings of a united Russian nation quickly died out as Lithuania and the Ottomans quickly occupied they're best potential route of expansion, the steppes of northern Asia.

Southern Asia is entirely Catholic.

Many Eastern Catholic provinces converted to protestantism, the only consequence being the annoyance of they're Ottoman rulers.

Persia consisted of all land from Ajam to Dzungaria, before a 50 year war with the backwards mega-state Muscowy and they're western partners, the Burgundians broke them into many minor states.

Adal, a small Islamic African nation, briefly attempted to reconquer Ethiopia during the 1670s but found that they had no soldiers, rebels occupying their capital, and Ethiopia was allied to the colossal Byzantine Empire.
Historians suspect that the 3 month war went on slightly longer than expected!

Armies of the time(except for one nation) had an amazing ability to coordinate troop movement in a way that made them always be one day ahead of the beforementioned nation.
