I'm liking EU4 a lot, but there are a few things that I dislike.

Monarch Points: Now I'm used to it, but they are too "gamey", I prefer the system from EU3, it was more logical. Now you have to spend monarch points in things that doesn't make any sense. But it's ok, I can live with it, it's a mechanic that works fine, it's just ugly.

Zone of control: I UNDERSTAND how it works, but it's bad, real bad. I like it because it makes wars more challenging, but need some rework, really.
-Hey army 2, I can't go there, help me!
-No problema amigo, I will go were you are, just touch my army and you will be free to go were I am.
-Ok...

Sense? None.

But this is what I hate most. Big empires are far too stables.
-War exhaustion, what is that?
-I don't know, is some kind of mechanic that punish small nations only.
In EU3 every nation could be affected by war exhaustion, even if you were winning the war. Now, if you are a big empire, or you are fighting a big empire, is imposible to rise war exhaustion to the point of being hurting.

What do you think?
PD: English isn't my first language, so feel free to correct me if you want. XD

Well in my latest run, i formed Prussia from Brandenburg, i own all German provinces, Estonia, Livonia, half Poland, half Lithuania, Denmark, some Sweden provinces (all Lubeck trade region), and i was in a big war against England, and my War exhaustion was very high. About 7, i think. But when it get's too high i usually reduce it with monarch points.

So, according to my understanding, war exhaustion affects big nations also, but in all my EU 4 experience it was never an issue for me (on contrary of Agressive Expansion). Though, to be honest, i stop playing when i get this big, and start a new run so i'm not an experienced WC player.

I don't like the ZoC mechanics also, and i think it should be reworked, but maybe you would need some kind of logistics mechanic, i think we are far beyond the point in which anything can be done about that.

Monarch Points i guess it's OK, but i don't have any EU 3 experience.

On a side note, the Ottoman Empire is HUUUUUUUGE, so stop complaining abou Otto nerf o_O

PS: Oh what i really don't like in EU 4, is that with the current DLC policy, there will never be a EU 5.
