Does it seem strange to anyone else that all three of those examples posted allow raiding?

Speaking of that, when are they finally going to fix that "Rulers can raid infidel neigbours for loot" tooltip to represent what it actually does?

Also, I suppose each religion keeps the religious head of whatever religion they are based on. We know the authority stays the same as well. I wonder if anything else stays the same.

Well, they hit a bug where their random religion kept the Jain "no hunting" limitation.

sect.png

Something I missed yesterday was the fact that the religion they were playing as during the stream had a sect. @Tuscany Can we get a look at it next time you guys do your stream?

I'm genuinely wondering if its a randomly generated sect or if it's just white-clad jainism.

That could work for a post Golden Bull HRE.

That could work for basically most of pre-Golden Bull HRE, actually. The Golden Bull merely formalized what was already common practice in Imperial elections; the Seven Princes and their roles had been the same for centuries.

I'm guessing you go to war for sacrifices. Might come with a higher chance of capturing generals in battle and courtiers after sieges.

Don't think it's the EUIV version, which is a no-restriction vassalization CB.
It might give prisoners once the peace deal is enforced, like the Free Captives cb

That trati its callled Svetambara Kezerianism. It is just a copy-paste of the Jainism branch. They showed that on the Stream.

So the custom religions have a set description/god names/scripture? I thought we could customize those as well. Why not give the player the choice to do this? It seems a relatively minor thing implementation-wise.

The Fog Father, the Sin Within, Transcripts of the Past and the Flower War are all some A-grade crunchy granola phrases and I wholly approve.

Some sort of imperial or Byzantine government is confirmed. It's not just a swanky ribbon, but a government icon.

Also there will be sweet, sweet new Byzantine holding art :) Or maybe Mediterranean

I only managed to get a glimpse of the new holding art, frantically trying to press the PrtSc button, but missed it. Got this instead.

Please say someone got a snapshot of the new architecture! :)
