A RYUKYU HttT AAR​

Being inspired by the "hardest nation" thread, I decided to give a go at Ryukyu. I haven't played the update yet, but my test game went pretty well. I can tell you that my first plan is to DoW Makassar on day one and with 2 units of mercenaries and 1 regular unit, I'll take the province and annex it.

I will go forward a bit slowly, I don't want to go over the BB limit (well, at least not yet) and get attacked. And because of my small amount of cash, it's a pain to keep off rebels from multiple provinces.

EDIT: In my Ryukyu game, for some weird reason (probably because they had a bigger navy), Makassar didn't want to accept my annexation demand. :\

Oh, yes. I'll try to update both AARs regularly, so don't always expect updates every or every other day. I try to get at least every other day, though.

Part I: The Journey begins

I start with a slider move towards land. I need higher morale. I gain a grand captain, who I hire right away.

Time for war. Before unpausing, I DoW unguaranteed Makassar:

I have no idea where their navy went, but I won the battle clearly, thanks to my king as leader and the grand captain.
While sieging, Manchu warns me.

And Korea warns too. But Makassar is dead.

In November 1400, they get annexed:

Looking good so far. I'm going away from Japan and Ming.

At least something. How are the chances for Manchu and Korea getting in any major wars soon? It seems that would be your only possibility to declare war again, without beeing invaded by them immediatly.
