No matter what I do.... my raiders/subs only kill one convoy per battle.... even if I have 15 subs or a battleship fleet (with proper screens). With Germany being my favorite country to play, this sucks donkey dew dew...

I think that's display only and not really the case under the hood. I've seen lots of people reporting the bug.

I suggest monitoring the convoy count of the target nation. (But obviously, don't forget they do rebuild over time; even if slowly.) Perhaps easier is to check the oil import. UK for example should not be able to import oil. You can yet also check the resource penalty of territories like New Foundland, like Ceylon.

If you are not too invested in your current save though, I actually recommend rolling back to 1.8. 1.9 has yet another critical bug of AI minors not defending their borders. And la Resistance does not anything to the core gameplay.

When the game doesn't hit your expectations that does not mean that there is a "game-error".

And it is always easier to cry "bug" than to self-reflect whether they had covered the preconditions to get a successful or better outcome.

Is the notion the game never has bug your point or is your point people are too stupid to understand a bug when they see one?

I can't say I've had the same issue as OP, my subs were sinking convoys like before in my last game.

May be I misread the OP. For me the OP was not "able" to "really" sink more than one convoy.

I understand the general objection to people (kids?) complaining about games or players they can't beat cheating at them. (I also think such kids should be reprimanded verbally by the community since many parents may not be aware.) But ya, it's not a good general assumption to put on everyone.

That's kind of why I was asking.

I have seen bugs in the naval battle reports, but I've not had a problem starving Britain for resources. I assumed the OP was reporting an inability to actually hurt Britain's ability ship resources home.

Note that there's a secondary "bug" that's not actually a bug that some players encounter.

There is a point where if you sink enough convoys, there simply aren't that many sailing the oceans anymore, resulting in fewer battles and fewer convoys sunk. But that's not a bug. It's just that you've sunk so many, there's a dearth of actual shipping to hit.

As a previous poster mentioned.
When you look at battles, many convoys are sunk. But on the remaining map icon after the same battle, it only looks like a single one is sunk.

That's possible, but it's more likely that the OP was just looking at the bugged naval battle AAR. The only way currently to see the real number of convoys sunk is to look at the Naval Losses tab in the Navy Overview (P shortcut, then click on leftmost button on top bar, then select enemy country in top menu, then look at convoys count).

Sorry, but you are quite wrong. The bug is that the after battle screen always Shows one convoy sunk, regardless of actual Numbers.
The details panel and monthly naval losses log show the actual results, however.

It is pretty clear.
How would a battleship repeatedly kill less than two convoys? Based on what OP described and how frequently the UI bug has been brought up recently, it is safe to assume the bug.
