These 'new' tags in front page are redundant

I mean, take a look at this, all of them are always 'new' to me. I'm mildly annoyed, why don't just remove 'new' tags and let them be?

I completely disagree, the "New" tag is extremely helpful to those of us that work in forum with low activity.

Yes, use it on said forum, not on the main page. I don't know about you, but I bookmarked forums that I frequently visit and directly go to them if I want to know the news about it. Either way, it's only mild annoyance when I check the main page.

Unfortunately for me it is useful in the main page too, so that I know whether to check a forum or not, even if I don't visit it frequently.
