As for Bavaria being squashed by Imperial troops, in general you would just have to pick a new dynasty or duchy. It is unfortunately not possible to police every stupid thing the AI does during player absences. If you have a different suggestion for dealing with it, I'll listen.

Well, give the 18 to me then if you won't miss it - I only get 4 or 5 a month if I remember correctly!
I'm happy to pay Russian Roulette with Bavaria. I'll try my absolute best to make it, but if not and I come under attack - anyone that (convincingly) helps me survive will get a Bavarian cookie (or should that be pretzel and sweet mustard?) and I'll owe them a favour!

The ontime cookie is deliberately small. It will increase as time goes on, though.

Looking more closely at the sittuation of Byzantium... No wonder they're in such a bad state! The emperor has managed to get one of the worst reputations I've ever seen in CK, so all his vassals hate him... From my own knowledge of the game, I'd say his position was pretty much untenable now, as that bad rep is going to haunt his hiers like a bad smell for several generations yet. My advice to the prospective Byzantines out there would be to play one of the princes (Vidin is next in line to inherit I think, and has decent stats), and either wait for the emperor to die naturally, or send him some less natural help.
As far as the Crusade for Byzantium, Georgia is too close, and too weak, to participate considering the current balance of power around the Black Sea littoral. i.e., the Seljuks would eat me alive.
EDIT: Of course, I intend to change that balance of power, but that's gonna take time...

D'oh. Didn't get my AAR in on time. Just a reminder guys, I mentioned about a week ago that I would miss part of this session for an optometrist appointment (DODMERB for ROTC), it might turn into the later half of the session. Just so you know.
All right, here is the save. I made the following edits:
- Removed Norway's ill-gotten vassals, and 500 prestige, that being my best guess at how much I got for the vassalisations.
- Norway's queen is pregnant again.
- Kempten is now Rich.
- Georgia has an extra point of stability - that's going to be my default AAR edit for people who don't request anything else.
- Leinster and Munster are no longer Hungarian vassals. Free Ireland!
- Leon +17 gold.
- Province +10 gold. (More than one month, but really, 4 gold is ridiculous. I introduced 10 as a minimum.)
- Silesia +10 gold.
- Bohemia +10 gold.
- Georgia +29 gold.
- Bavaria +14 gold.
- Changed Moravia's main title to Bohemia.
Question. Do all paradox (Besides EUIII) work the same when it comes to joining or will I have to fiddle with my firewall for each one. On a related note can I test if it's working or not by joining say.. a game of EU2 to see if it's working or will I have to specifically join a CK game to see if it worked?

Didnt i told you that you got almost all of your prestige from the AIs that pledged to you? You just need to load up the latest save (Session 1) and load up the save we got after you vassalized Britanny (County_of_Reggio_1079_September_28) to confirm what i am saying. In the latest save you got 3700 prestige - in the save we got after you vassalized Britanny, you got only 2000. So basically, you got 1700 from the AIs that pledged to you, not only 500.
Also, if Ireland is getting free from Hungary, then please edit the Duchy of Oporto as well and make them independent. They are a vassal of Hungary, too.
