normal speed is now previous update fast speed and etc everything has been shifted.i've no definite proff, but it seems like the game got alot faster in evrything , building etc .... i'm not sure if it is just the more fluid time that pass or what..
Interesting. Could be a quirk of compiler flag or release process differences between betas and proper releases.I'm almost half-convinced they have a `sleep 100ms` in the main loop that they forgot to turn on for the open beta. I experienced the same speed up in the Galactic Community beta IIRC and it wasn't there in the final patch...
Also AMD CPU/GPU and I noticed the same thing too. I had to double check I wasn't running on Fastest.Yeah I've noticed this too (pretty hard to miss actually), and I do have an AMD setup.
You are actualy playing to 2550?after year 350
Nono, it's actually faster, I mean that speed 2 feels like speed 3, for around 5-10 or so years when you start the game. The AI work properly, they fleet management is still rubish but the AI economy and tech use is proper, at least with Grand admiral, scaling on.The game runs faster? Especially if you set speed 5. However it could also be result of AI being lazy (less decisions in beta) or smaller setup 600 stars.
Also technology is faster i think, as there is slower admin cap penalty, and you dont sink pops into buerocrats for no reason. For example i get Battleships consistent in y70 which wasnt the case before. Put more pops into research, initial penalty is minimal, also you can get Discovery/Prosperity tree sooner.
