January 1936
This is the status of our nation as for 1936, Mr. President. As you can easily see, things are not going well at all... This is our government
In this troubled time, we'd need more security, more IC and reports over foreing countries that we can trust enough. These men can provide what our nation needs. We also need to start acting in a different way, if we really want to try to resurge.
It's just useless to launch ourselves in producing new units or infrastructures - if we do not have a solid base on the people. And with the money from the goods, we can get something useful...
The status of our technology is not that bad for the war area, but a disaster in the industrial zone. We are far behind the other developed nation. And we need an industrial technology
Given the internal situation, we can move the focus on the eastern policy.
On the east we have Germany, and what was part of our Empire... now it's all under the wings of the Prussian Eagle, directly or inderectly. As for now, we can't even think to match them
Then we have Caucasus. The harshest menance here is for the Georgian government, still a safehouse for socialism. The Cossacks are of no bother - and Germany watches for their independence from us. Once more, we have our hands tied for now. Then we have Azerbaijan and Armenia. The seconds, still oppressed by Istanbul.
Then we have the "Lands of Warlords", in Asia. First of all Central Asia. We have never recognised the independence of Kazaks and Turkmens. And we will never, they are just criminals who seized power during the Civil war.
Then we have the Mongols. The traitor von Stenberg decided to make Mongolia his personal feud after the war, as a "payment for his services". He now wants to "unify all Mongols", thus alienating the simpaties of also China and Japan.
Even worse is the situation in the Far East. Not only we must recor the Japanese direct presence in Port Arthur and their foothold called "Korea", but their vassal state of Manchuria, a land that they just exploit in an inhuman way. And then the personal kingdom of another traitor, the Admiral Kolchack, who submitted to Tokyo to follow his desires of glory - which glory we do not know, as Tokyo sees him just as a puppet in their hands, and their pass if they want to land in Vladivostok...
Not to forget in Northern Europe the Finns, once our land... As usual, guess who watches for their independence?
"Good enough. I believe that it's the right time to think to ensure our control. At least in Central Asia and Mongolia, to get back parts of the Transiberian railway. We are going to raise the military presence in their area".
"Received, Mr. President. Here you are other cards for your curiosity, but I believe that you know nearly all..."
3rd January: Germany pressures to pay the war repairation as stated on the Brest Litovsk treaty. That is like an amount of money we do not have now...
6th January: The instability of Russia reaches a new peak, as this news can tell us
7th January: As a reaction to the death of Kerensky, Marshall Anton Denkin seizes the power, with the aim of restoring the order in the country
8th January: Marshall! You can read above all the cards I prepared for the New Year's report to our dead President some days ago. But there have been some changes in the government, as a lot of ministers decided not to side with us. You must appoint new heads.
"I'll do it later, now just let me read", said Denkin.
12th January: More instability is bringed due to the birth of a new ideology: Totalism. More leftist madness...
17th January: "Marshall, you have to appoint the Prime Minister. Who is going to take the charge?" "Don't worry my dear, I already know who is on my side..."
22nd January: the Marshall speaks to the nation, willing to close this period of more unrest than usual.
29th January: the payment of Brest Litovsk repairations takes part. It's hailed with a lot of dissent, seen as just the last act of what is defining itself like the Russian "century of humiliation"...
