Hi,
Two questions, out of curiosity:

1. Why is Theodoro not called "Gothia"? Much cooler name imho. ;)

2. Why is Theodoro dynasty name "of Gothia" and not Gabras? "Of something" is a very common naming for dynasties in EU4, sure - but they do retain their national "flavor". Example - "von Hohenzollern", "di Savoia". And not "of Hohenzollern/ "from Savoy".

Because Theodoro is been found in Greek medieval scripts, and Gothia was an idea of Hiltler, in which he wanted claim and populate with full Germans Crimea as an outpost, just like Gibraltar is to the UK.

On the dynasty, you’re completely right. Gabras is better

Because the claims involved are less

Because histiography isnt standardised, if you read 19th century English books it'll sometimes say of hohenzollern

Never heard of this - source?

Gothia seems like a synonym to Theodoro.

True. However, dynasty naming in EU4 is standarized - hence the question. "of Gothia" is clearly an odd exception to the rule.
