While musing on how I would continue a game of EU3 into Vicky as the Teutonic Order, it occurred to me that there isn't such a government type. Or a Teutonic Order AFAIK, but that can be modded in.

Now, I don't have Vicky installed at the moment (I want to finish a CK -> EU3 import before I go buying Revolutions) so I have no idea if you can mod something like that in. ASSUMING it can't be done, what would the closet approximation be? One-party Presidential Dictatorship maybe? (Well this might be more suitable for the military order that the Teutonic Order was rather than an actual Theocracy.)

The Papal States is simulated as a Monarchy in game. That is about as theocratic a state as there is in the game, although I am not sure how well that would work with the Teutons.

Monarchy would be perfect. You want a government system where plurality gives you militancy, and where no one has any voting rights. So monarchy it is. An alternative would be presidential dictatorship but that just sounds weird...

Bummer, does that mean you can't actually mod in a new government type?

Oh well, maybe in Victoria 2.

By the time I finish my TO game in Vanilla, and get started on my CK->EU3 campaign and then finish that, maybe a EU3->V2 converter will be out! :D
