I was wondering if anyone knew the name of classical music song that is used at the intro, or any of the famous songs used during the game. I realy enjoy the music

The opening piece is called "Beruhmte Marsche". All the music files can be found in MP3 format in the folder Victoria\music. The MP3 files are all titled, with the author and name of the piece. There is also a text file there with the order in which these songs are played, just match the numbers up.
Edit: seems grafzahl beat me to the answer. I suspect, though, that "Beruhmte Matsche" and "Marcia Trionfale" are one and the same, "Triumphal March" in German and Spanish, respectively

"Berühmte Märsche" means "Famous Marches", and to me indicates that they're taken from a compilation of some sort...

"Aida" is a an allegory for the italian indipendence from the foreign powers (Habsburgs above all)
Verdi is italian
the name VERDI itself was taken as an italian indipendence symbol, shouting at the theatrical performances:
viva VERDI = viva Vittorio Emanuele Re d'Italia (long life to VERDI = long life to Vittorio Emanuele King of Italy)

According to Naxos this is the right information.
I checked in Victoria files as well and that 8.554267-5.mp3 lasts 02:47 while På Vakten lasts 03:10.
P.S. Björneborgarnas march and Finska rytteriets are in fact Finnish marches. Björneborgarnas march is the official march of Finnish Army and our presidential march as well. In Finland it is known as Porilaisten Marssi. Finska rytteriets is dedicated to the Finnish cavalry in the 30 years war.
