I would offer Dutchie either the Exchequer (Chancellor) or Deputy PM position. I would be willing to give the Libertarians the Foriegn Office. We would also be willing to compromise on issues with our coalition partners.

Its all up to you guys now. Remember if no majority government is formed by 5 PM tommorrow then the CPB will form a minority government as has been decreed by Alexus.

I'd also like to remind CPB supporters that there are still cabinet positions up for grabs. We have only had two volunteers so far.

England currently has at it's disposal a veritable Administrative Genius when it comes to assessing the economic issues that plague our Industrial and Armaments efforts. The writings of one John Maynard Keynes are considered by many to be peerless in diagnosing and proposing solutions to our current problems. His advice regarding our recent exit from the gold standard has been a blessing to our nation. Just look at the heartache the French have endured by their stubborn adherence to the gold standard as their factories remain idle to realize how much better off we are now. His grasp of the larger global picture is also quite keen. More then a decade ago, he was predicting that the terms of the Treaty of Versailles would lead to exactly the dangerous situation in Europe that we see now. All in all, I suggest that John Maynard Keynes is without a doubt the perfect man for our nation to entrust with our economic decision making.

Furthermore, he can serve as a good compromise candidate for our current political situation. Keynes is a trusted and reliable advocate of democracy who does not seek to destroy the nation. He is no Communist but he is a trusted and known Social Democrat who can be trusted to look after the working classes. And his economic proposals for encouraging more capital investment by the working classes can bridge the seemly impossible differences between the capitalist and socialist. The worker will own the means of production, he will buy it with mutual funds! We face a parliament divided into very different camps over economic issues and John Maynard Keynes is exactly the man who can bring those camps together!

Righto, my fine trollops! I've heard back from the IDP, the Libs and the DUP, and we seem to have a coaalition rolling! We're however missing the blimpys response, who seem to be the tipping factor in this here election, but I'm sure they hate the french I mean communists just as much as we do. However, our current coalition already has a larger share in the parliamentary pie. So yup, the coalition is effectively formed. We'll just need to sort out the positions and BLAMO the governments gonna govern the everloving crap out of Britain.

Also, all of my coalitionmates, please try to keep your PM folders as empty as possible, because I wish to talk with you because I love you.

So, potential coalitions that are being floated:
BAD-ID-DUP-LPUK: 44%
or CPB-LPUK : 46%

It seems the Blimpists are important now, if they commit to a coalition.

Either way, looks like a new election sooner rather than later.

Does it?

Or does it?

Pretty much Alexus. The Right-Wing Alliance currently has 39% (BAD-ID-DU) and the CPB ofc has 41%. Both of us are looking to get the LPUK on side for its 5%. Meanwhile the Blimpists have yet to commit and hold the balance of power.

Hopefully in the next election we can use a one person one vote system. :)

I've never taken part in a RealPolitik AAR but I have experience of texted based online roleplaying (I run the country Mussleburgh on Statesmanship and Nationstates). I would be willing to work as a independent or intermediate negotiator between parties if needed.

I hope that come the next election I will have a chance to stand and serve the British people as I was not able to this election, until then I shall serve the people in anyway that is require of me. The government may only need ask.

We at the British Union of Fascists request that elections be recalled, on the principle of every voter having to use both votes for two different parties. However, if that is not possible, we would be interested in a coalition with fellow anti-communist parties.

Even if it comes to another election because of the atrocious, bourgeois, election system, I would cast my vote(s) the same. The Left has only one party, and casting my vote for another party would only dilute my support for the rightful winners of the election, the Communist Party of Britain.
