The End of the Battles of the Danish Coast
Every now and then Vicky gives you one of those situations that just make you shake your head in wonder. Such a situation occurred on December 15th when the third squadron which had withdrawn from action in the Danish Straits to escort the damaged battleship Pommern back to port was attempting to return to the Danish Straits, and wouldn’t you know it they ran into the entire Rumanian navy.
As for the rest of the action in the Danish Straits, the Germans were finally ready to wrap things up. The final battle cost the British 6 battleships and 2 modern cruisers.
And so the battles of the Danish Straits finally came to an end after almost two months of fighting in three different sea zones. The final score in ships lost…

A Swedish Update
This will be a rather minor update about the situation in Sweden. There really isn't much to say, the Swedes have recaptured their capital, and have mopped up most of the Russians from the earlier invasion. Other than that all's quiet on the Swedish Front. (They're probably still in shock from losing their monitor)

Sweden looking good. A shame you can't send them one of your old battleships by way of compensation.
It sure does suck for Sweden...but they must know that their monitor fought for the betterment of the Central Powers! Surely their cannonballs were a distraction for the British crews.
hmmm, good to see the Swedes fought back the Russians. I have a feeling when the Russians are defeated Sweden will have a higher possibility of getting land in negotiations than say...OE...I predict they will get present day finland.
I would have cherished that peace deal from England.

I have to say that I am surprised the Swedes are holding up this well! I think they deserve to gain Finland in the peace settlement. Or at least gain it as a satellite.
The Italian Front, December 15,1915 to December 20,1915
The situation in Italy remains basically the same. With Rome captured the Italians want peace, but before we let them out of the war Germany needs to capture the northern provinces, and destroy the remaining Italian armies operating there.
The goals for Italian peace will be to place Italy under the German Economic Union (satellite), and take all her colonies, and reclaim those northern provinces stolen from Austria. To do this in game terms I will need to ask for extra northern provinces in order to trade them back to Italy for her colonial lands.
Which brings us to our map of northern Italy
With the bulk of the remaining Italian forces stationed in the fortresses of Bergamo and Padua, the German High Command sent troops to capture the relatively undefended fortresses of Trento and Bozen. Bozen only had a single division defending it, and so hopefully this should be a short and easy victory.
Trento meanwhile was unguarded, and the German troops immediately set about occupying the province, while the Italian sent in troops to recapture the fortress.
Upon closer inspection is was observed that the Italians were sending units from Bergamo to the battle of Trento, and so despite the continued protest of General Joeb, orders were given for yet another assault on Bergamo. And the slaughter continues…
