Hopefully those wacky fronts are going to be cleared up as I bring in more troops. One thing I've noticed about the AI is that it will leave a garrisoned provine alone, to go after an ungarrisoned one. This creates the opportunity for entrapments, but I try not to do this as it is taking advantage of the AI. Eventually I'll have troops in a solid line along the front, and then things will not look so bad.

I think all your questions were answered, but one final thought about Afrika. It is definately going our way, but it takes a while between updates because I have so few troops there, that the action is far less. It also takes a lot longer to capture a province with 1 or 2 divisions, than it does with say an army of 9 divisions.
Oy yea, and the Greeks seem content to stay neutral. I guess I am a diplomatic failure.

I can't really tell you why the Russian AI has marched the way it has. As I said above, I've noticed they always go after an ungarrisoned province first, but I wasn't paying close enough attention to know if that was the case in Austria.

I'm not really to worried about the Russians advancing into Bavaria. I'm sending a lot of troops east, and soon enough that little problem will be dealt with.

Welcome to the Great War. I really haven't given to much thought yet to North America. I haven't played the 1914 scenario before, so I don't know how strong the US will be, I suppose I'll figure it out when I get there.

Actually this is a rather easy AAR to keep up on (from a writer's standpoint). I can paly the game for just a few hours, and get enough pics and information to make updates for 2 weeks. Then all I have to do is go to work, where I can have the time to make my post

As for Russia, I plan to accept the Brest-Litovsk treaty when it fires, and then I will liberate most of the smaller nations to form a block of countries that will be a buffer zone of sorts between Germany and Russia

I'm not sure yet what I'll do with Austria. We will need to to see how the war plays out.
