I'm currently having a really fun game with Mao, I conquered the puppet of Nat. China in the west, then I went on liberating Tibet and Sinkiang. One question about it, Sinkiang isn't Core of Communist China (And neither of Nat. China)

Reason for this? Plus, I don't have HK and Macao as core. Will this be added by event? And will my cores on Mongolia be removed by event, in exchange for Sowjet support?

I've decided to remove the core on Sinkiang for both Chinas. People there are not chinese, they're Ouïgours, a turkmene tribe. For the others cores on HK, Macao, i don't know. I'll check this.

Thank you for your answer.

Well, I can understand your opinion, but given the fact that China is, and was, always a multi-ethnic nation, this should not really be any factor. Otherwise you might have to remove around 50% of current cores for China.

Well, it won't make that huge difference anyway, and I'll just mod this for myself in. Other than that, I definitely prefer Platinum over Gold :)

Are there any screenshots of the new land doctine? Having mixed feelings about, I'm fairly sure that many people, including me, would like to see what it looks like before we download Platinum.

Your solution of removing only 50% of the core sounds good... I note that for the nextbugfix.

Thanks for playing.

btw, which part of Switzerland are you from ? I you like, you can visit the official WIF board at Strategium (in french if can read it).

Well, if you want the benefit of graphics, it is recommended to install Platinum directly over the Gold.

Typical install

DD 1.3 + Arma 1.2 + Gold + Platinum

Here it is

Specific trees for UK, US, Japan, France/Italy (same), Germany, USSR and China. Puppets are following their masters trees. Any other countries are following the french/italian tree (lessons of WWI).

You've almost one doctrine a year to research.

Can you tell me why this happen:i builded infantry with Germani on platinum and when i went for 71 inf div der Gluckhaffe or something all next div are named 71 inf div der Gluckhaffe

I don't know why it is happening, i saw the same problem when you launch more than 10 parallel runs of infantry div. If you launch also a serial run, once the divisions created, the divisions names will appear normally, after the 71. Infanterie-Division 'die Glückhafte', the lucky one, you will have the 72. Infanterie-Division and so on.

I've also seen this in '1914'mod,but as I can remember, they won't appear with double names.

You've almost one doctrine a year to research.

But the thing is... I can't see the "specificity" of doctrines... I mean, take your pic. If I develop the "Assault Humain Doctrine", which is a UK doctrine according to the tree, then the next doctrine I would expect to study is the "Guerre de mouvements", which is another UK doctrine, but actually the only doctrine I can research is the "Guerre des Tranches". And then, after I've researched that doctrine and the "Guerre d'Atrittion" one, the next doctrine I can research is... again "Guerre de Mouvements", but now the first one of the France/Italy brench of the tree.

When I see that picture I expect to research the doctrines from the first one under the name on the country (Assault Humain for the UK according to the pic) to the last one (Armes combinées) but instead, you switch from brench to brench as you do research.

In the end that means that when I research a doctrine, I don't know which one will I be able to investigate after that one! Because it "switches" from a brench to another.

Is this just happening to me or it's intended to work this way?
