I've fixed some cultures and religions in the scenario and I'll publish it today. If you want to use any of my settings, then do this.

If you've downloaded the newest beta, you'll see that the cultures in the Americas is already done, and iberian is split into Spanish and Portuguese as well. And we are doing religion _completly_ different than in the 1419 scenario, so you do not need to spend your time editing what has already been edited, in addition, it would be practically impossible to merge different parts of two scenarios, if I felt like doing so.
Hmmm, isn't the map on the first page outdated anyawy?Where is the newest one?Originally posted by Legolas
I did not read the entire thread, but seeing the maps were enough for me to notice some... mistakes in Eastern Europe:
1. The province of Prussia should belong to Russia;
2. The province of Memel should belong to Lithuania;
3. The province of Lithuania must belong to Lithuania (isn't this obvious?);
4. The province of Kurland should belong to Latvia;
5. As Lithuania is split into two parts then, Latvia should give mil. access to Lithuania from the very start of scenario;
6. The province of Smolensk should belong to Russia;
7. The provinces of Polotsk and Wielikia should belong to Belarus;
8. The province of Galizia should belong to Ukraine;
9. There should be an independent Moldova with the province of Moldova;
10. The province of Presburg should belong to Slovakia;
11. The province of Moravia should belong to Bohemia;
12. The province of Erz should belong to Bohemia;
13. The province of Ostmarch should belong to Austria;
14. There should be an independent Slovenia with the provinces of Steiermark and Istria;
Just my two cents... But hey, isn't this all logical?![]()

seeming logical, maybe; but it also looks (at first glance) that you are using province names to influence your decisions, and not objectively looking at where some of these territories lie.
for example, using the province 'moldova' to stand in for the country of moldova would a more gross misrepresentation than giving 'macedonia' to the republic of macedonija. the province names can always be changed in the text file.
so, we'll have to wait and see if and how the map can be redone, or if the names that appear on the map can be renamed...

I can agree about Moldova. However we need these countries (Moldova and Macedonija). But there is no logical place to put Macedonija. OTOH, Moldova CAN be put in the Moldova province, because:
a. it does not give Moldova a port (logical);
b. it is in the same place as the country of Moldova IRL (logical);
c. Romania is huge even w/ out Moldova (quite-logical).
None of these work for Macedonija though.
At least someone has understand something.Originally posted by stephanos
i stress the idea that we need to wait until the map is redrawn before assigning provinces in the balkans.
