ohh i was thinking maybe add a cot to Isfahan cause when i played the cot in baghdad disapeared an one in Najd apeared but there was no money in it cause the only provinces connected to the cot was the three in Najd, and no body knew about it :wacko:Kasperus said:*Sigh* Any more borders wrong? Seems like I can better re-release a whole package after all with these fixed as that's becoming a bit too many missing one's for my taste...![]()
And I'll add a mediterranean cot, Naples seems a good idea to me.
Will fix that as well in the next patch then. Whenever that will be released, I kind of doubt I'll make it before february...Cadmus said:quick bug:
troops actually standing in the siberian province of angara are graphically located outside, about two provinces to the west.
I think it should be Tatar not Tartar to start with... For the rest it kind of depend what you wish to represent with it imo... If all European Mongols then it should be obvious which provs and countries to change... though you might also wish to represent only, say, Crimean Tatars like that.Jimbo_Jools said:s Sorry, another question
I've decided to add the culture "Tartar" to my game.
Which provinces should be Tartar in 1419, and which countries should have it as a state culture - and for those countries - in what order in comparison to other culture?
ie, Golden Horde: Mongol, Tartar, Altai. You know what I mean
Thanks
I would not represent Uzbekhs or Khazaks as Tatars, if only for balance reasons... For the other groups it makes less difference since especially the Altaic territories are mostly unoccupied at the start anyway. That being said, reintroduction of a separate Mongolic Tatar culture would make most sense in the simple way of changing any Mongolian province west of the Altai mountains/Dzungaria to Tatar and keeping the rest as is. That way GH, Sibir, Kazan and Crimea would become Tatar (no need for Mongolian for them then), Uzbeks having a separate culture would require only Uzbekh, ev. Khazak (since they would not be meant to expand north into Altaic territories nor into Dzungaria and aobsolutely not into Europe; Same story for Khazaks). Altai could be given to states like Sibir or GH though I don't remember right now which rovs I gave that culture to exactly. Mongolian would therefor only remain there for Mongolia itself and the Chagatai. But that's just my opinionJimbo_Jools said:lol, right, so on Kasperus' map, which countries should have Tatar state culture?
Golden Horde? Uzbeck Khanate? Who else???
And in terms of the actual provinces which sould have it - where would they be?
Apparently no one did, neither did I notice it. I'm not sure when I can fix it, though I'll try for first next patch (unlikely to be released before mid-february). However, that will only affect the WATK3 map (which has the same bug). I'm not going to update the WATK2 anymore, which, afaik, is what Ryo used for AoD (which I assume you are using)Daniel A said:Kasperus,
We are using your new nice map in EGA5 (MP). I am Russia and explored into Siberia. Somewhere in the middle I found two provinces with the same name on the map, "Ilim". Don't know if this has been reported earlier. I also believe that they are both adressed as Ilim in messages in the game, but I cannot bet my life on that.
The more Western of them is a forest province to the East of the Jenisej river and the other is a mountain province two steps to the East, NorthWest of the Bajkal lake, between the river Lena and the lake.
Thanks and I will fix these as well. Of course Trebizond ought to have same shields as Byzantium.Hasimir Fenring said:Great work Kasperus ! Your map is just fantastic ! However I've noticed some minor bugs:
- I've started a game with Trapezous (or Trebizond if you prefer). I'm allied with Byzantium but the Byzantion province is a "terra incognita" for me... quite embarassing, isn't it ? Moreover there is another problem with the CB shields: I've got more CB shields than Byzantium (same as the 1.09 version I think) but I haven't CB shields on the new provinces you'e created Shouldn't Trebizond get the same CB shields as Byzantion ?
-To conclude, there is a small problem concerning cities name in Persia: there are 2 provinces with Tabriz as capital... But sorry I don't remeber which one
Anyway congratulations and keep working !!

Yeah I know but I'm unable to get it fixed myself, there are quite a bit countries in the game and I've been fixing mostly the one's that are most popular for playing (imo). For the rest Classique would do some startup testing with, dunno how far he's with that, once he will provide me with a list of needed adjustments, I'll implement it in a patch.wryun said:More (possibly unwelcome and already known about) bug reports...
Scenario:
- there are lots of TI problems amongst Asian nations (odd provinces not known about in China, Japan, etc.)
I did not update the provinces that were meant to become Russian colonies, these were confucian already in vanilla. These provinces were also meant to have the natives destroy the colony, unless a Mongolian player prevents it and recolonize them. A trivial issue imo that I can fix though.- the religion of the Mongol colonies is odd - why are they Confucian when almost everything else is Buddhist?
(I've been playing a game as Mongolia)
Apparently the way in which the magellan tool does the recreating of lightmap 2 and 3 from 1 (resizing). I have no direct influence on that process, though it might be indirectly influenced by the technique of shading on lightmap 1. Afaik it is not possible to edit the upper zoomlevels manually anymore (since it caused adjacenties problems Inferis removed that possibility IIRC).Map:
- I assume you know about it, but there are often weird artifacts at anything except the maximum zoom level... little 'spray' shadows tend to appear from the letters and province borders. What causes this?
Nope, other than that Inferis would have to rewite his code- Also, is it possible to increase the amount of 'white' over TI islands? Sometimes they look like they've already been explored when you've only discovered the sea zone.
