I think you want to join the Axis and regain control of the Northern Ireland once more. Maybe even of the whole isles, mwhahahaha!
Might be a bit late for that...and Ireland isn't that good.
Never thought to ever play as Ireland, will follow
Truth be told, it's not that great to play.
beautiful white banner, you might wanna reconsider uploading it again that we can see it

The Diary of Donal Buckley, Prime Minister of Ireland
1/1/36
Ah...it's good to be Prime Minister! I should probably see who's in my cabinet.
Hmm...well, there's me, in my glorious splendor. My fine mind can protect us from outside influences well enough! But I don't like the look of this Eamon de Valera character: two jobs?? In
my administration? We'll take care of him later. Next up is Sean MacEntree; fine Irish name there! And such a capitalist, too! I like him. Patrick J. Rutladge...I don't know...he's rather silent, and usually carrying around some sort of briefcase. But I like his face, so he can stay. Gerald Boland is Head of Intelligence. My spies tell me that he's rather good at sniffing out info. I might have to change him though. M.J. Costello, School of Defense...doesn't sound like a very nice school. Then there's me again...apparently I'm elastic. Huh. Oh, well. H.T Green, he looks very officia;. And P.A. Mulchahy has a fun name; I might keep him around. Now, for the cabinet changes!
First Mulcahy, he's better at spying during peace because he's a...pacifist? Moving on...
Ah, a fellow Dismal Enigma...wonder if he knows Canaris? Should probably ask...anyway, he's pudgy, and you know how I'm partial to tubby people, Diary.
Wait...this is MY job! Gah...such a fool! I hope Frank didn't notice. At least my soldiers won't turn into rotting corpses...
Also, Diary, you can see a sketch of politics in the Republic of Ireland made by yours truly. Apparently the Fine Gaels are on top. I think I'm with them. Probably. Woah-Sinn Fein is a COMMIE party??? I never could have guessed...and the Gaelic Union, whatever they are. Wait a min-are the National Socialists Fascist? But...their name...has socialism...
Now to matters less complicated:
Ah. My beautiful spy ring! Sigh...(drool appears on page)
Oops, sorry, Diary! Guess I got kinda carried away. Dontcha just love spies? Anyway, I'm using mine to
by using propaganda and scaremongering tactics, we will sway the public opinion away from neutrality and toward intervention. Huh. 'K. Seems cool. Also...Albania??? Really?? the only thing they have there is mules...
And, needless to say, we will also increase the threat of the Huns.
Well, I guess if you can't beat the British, join them...? Eamon told me that all the cool kids in Europe were doing it. But I thought that Germany and the Soviets were cool, with their goatees and little mustaches that look like the cat dragged them in, and coffee and national executions...!
Personally, I could care less. But Eamon says that, if I want to keep in power, I have to do what he says, and that means speeches. It's always speeches and politics with Eamon. We never ever get to play, like we used to.
But at least all our laundries are built up to the fullest. Take that, Anglicans! Our laundries are top-notch and nun-employing!
What's this? Some soldiers in western Germany say that they rightfully own the land? The man with the strange mustache and high voice said so on TV. Odd. Eamon says that he plans to take over Europe. Eamon never lets me watch
Sesame Street.
We have a navy? I wondered what that huge iron thing in the dock was. But Eamon says I can't bring my stuffed animals aboard! It's unfair! You always loved the Armed forces more than me!
Eamon ordered that a new division be constructed. I wanted to call it the
Flying Saucers, but Eamon refused, and said I could name it the Thunderbolt. I said ok, but only for some ice cream after dinner. He said yes! Yay!
I don't know what this means. Eamon says it helps with cool stuff like guns. Awesome!
That's it for now! Let me know what you think about the format and gameplay. Comments make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
