Yup Jesus/God said laws were meant to serve it's citizens, but that the citizens now serve the law.

And that's partially why I am a Jew.

And nonetheless, just cas Jesus said it, doesn't mean it happened in the successive 1700 years.

Ah I am Jewish myself. But then you of all should know about not deciding over otjer faiths and other peoples lives.

And more blah.

The point of the argument is - humanity has served governments (no matter what Jesus said) for centuries on end. Suddenly, we have come to the realization that the state is evil and we deserve every 'right' (whoever judges what those are anyway), underneath sun. Arguing for them as a natural point of living is plain stupid. There are no such things as natural rights - you are entitled to nothing, not even to life.

So why are the government entitled to something then?

I believe everyone is entitled to live a life in peace and freedom. Free from coercion from others. That is what I believe. But still, how can you support that and still support that the government are entitled to do anything and have any rights?

Governments aren't entailed to jack. Neither are humans. People are animals, and like animals, have never been entitled to special rights. What is true, is that we are all naturally violent (and there goes the peace part), and greedy (and there goes the freedom part).

The fact is that governments gather the power and utilize the human resource, not out of right, but for separate reasons that may or may not be relevant to freedoms and liberties.

Just for starters it is not allowed to missionate our religion.
That's probably because you're the Chosen People and whatnot, only the pureblooded Chosen Ones can be part of that little dance of yours.

Also, I agree, these liberties of yours have brought us nothing of value, it's time to put an end to this sillyness.

Careful there.

No it is not allowed to turn others away from their mothers faiths. Also non-Jews have been issued the laws of Noah. Furthermore we don't believe in hell really. So all that matter is what we do in life. And I respect everyone who live a good life and don't use force others.

Nothing of value? Isn't it great for you to be allowed to a ir your opinion and be a part of electing your government? Or just the fact that it is not allowed for the government or any other individual to kill you for any reason they want to.

It would make me feel much safer if this silly parliament was disbanded and noone was allowed to air their opinion. Especially you, my dear.

But you would like to enjoy the liberty of airing your opinion right? You like that you have property rights? Or that you are not expectd to be at the kitchen from society, government and media alike?

I believe it's you who's expected to be at the kitchen, my dear. As a prince, I'm expected to sip good brandy and laugh at all you poor people. Noblesse oblige.

Exactly. So you like that? What if you didn't have rights or liberties to do that? What if you lived under a totalitarian socialist regime? Would you then still think liberties and rights are pointless?

I think by that point I would be already dead, gone out in a blaze of glory fighting against you liberal-socialist-feminist-commies.
Phah, also, yes.

What about if you lived in the National Socialist regime our brave soldiers deafeated? Would you then think freedom of religion and protection from violence were pointless?

Phah, also, yes.

If you hadn't doen that and lived under a totalitarian socialist regime. Or a feminist dictatorship where men were slaves. Would your liberties to air your opinion akd to drink brandy still be pointless?

And why would you fight? Maybe to protect your rights?
