I'm not really a socialist :eek:o, and to be fair if Mexico was so dominant that the american language and culture were disappearing I would probably not be so blase about eradication. :eek:o. I learned that the EU has a dubious record on democracy and am more skeptical, so you know real politics in action. ;)

Hey it's not pointless I Bothered to learn about the EU and you aren't being a crumugeon
Could you drop me a PM please because I don't want to clog up the thread anymore but I'm genuinely curious as to why you think the EU has a dubious record on democracy and I figure that you and I are reasonable gentlemen who might actually be able to have a productive discussion about this :p

Try to abolish cultures and so on then. You will then see major social unrest. This is once more where theoretical behind the desk policies meet the real world. It may be cultural, but it is still real.
He's not really advocating for their abolishment as much as arguing they shouldn't be more important then the whole of humanity.

(I think he's mostly in character), If not however he deserves a good kick in the pants
Eh, even if he's serious his country contributes two liberal parties to the bloc of liberal MEPs in the European Parliament so I'm happy to let him enjoy his political impotence as his country moves forward through the 21st century without him :)

I think this whole thread needs a time out.

I guess the referendums could count but for the most part I have understood why some would feel that way at the very least.

The number of insults here is just too high, I am having trouble even telling there is an AAR going on under it all. Tommy has been infracted for his thread melting down, and will be temp banned (returning after two days). I am leaving this thread shut down, though. You've had your fun and over-stayed your welcome.

I and the other moderators have discussed the events here at length and we've decided that the thread will remain closed. A large portion of this comes down to the infraction history of the thread's curator.

I understand that this will be an unpopular move for some members of the thread and any concerns or complaints should be sent to me directly via PM.
