Only problem is that the BP want to cooperate with the left. The Yellows might cooperate with the right. Especially if the Tories open up to EEC, maybe through a refferendum. As I've said, big elements of the Conservative Party actually favour entry into the EEC

The broad party is, honestly, only opposed to the Tory economic policies, which they view as destructive. I... could see them cooperating with the Tories a lot better than the leadership faction, since they likely wouldn't make such outrageous demands as PR and EEC in exchange for cooperation.

And if the Yellow leadership faction wins, they'll be just as politically isolationist as the tankies, demanding that their policies be instated. The Tories are opposed to EEC, which rules them out, and I doubt the authoritarian leadership faction will win the hearts and minds of Labour as well.

And if Liberals replace Labour as the main opposition to Conservative Party, Labour will once again lose it significance.
